To petition for a program change with GPA recalculation, a student must submit an application to the Registrar's Office. The requirements and instructions for submitting an application and the criteria used for the GPA adjustment are available in the Advising/Counseling office. The student is strongly advised to consult with an advisor or counselor since a GPA adjustment can be done only once for a student.
Following an absence from the College of 10 calendar years, a student may apply for a GPA recalculation with academic forgiveness. The student must apply for recalculation during his/her first semester of enrollment after the 10-year absence. The recalculation will be made only once a in a student's academic career at the College. All coursework below C will be removed from calculation in the GPA. Coursework removed from GPA will not be used to meet degree requirements; however, all courses will remain on the student's transcript. Applications are available in the Advising/Counseling office. The student is strongly advised to consult with an advisor or counselor since this can be done only once for a student.
