The Mildred E. Bastian Center for the Performing Arts is committed to serving its audience by providing quality college-community performances in music and theater.

We offer two mainstage productions each school year, as well as many music events such as solo recitals and ensemble concerts.  All of our shows are FREE and seats are first-come first-serve basis!  Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance. Admission for all campus theatrical productions is free. The house and box office open 30 minutes before the show. We no longer take reservations, as seating is open and on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no late seating.

  • Children under 10 will not be admitted to theater productions not specifically labeled for children.
  • Our regulations prohibit eating and drinking in the theater.
  • The taking of photographs – flash or otherwise – during the performance is prohibited.
  • We request that patrons turn off cellular phones and pagers during the performance as a courtesy to our performers and other patrons.
  • St. Louis Community College is tobacco free. Use of tobacco products is prohibited on all college property. The Mildred E. Bastian Centre for the Performing Arts is a smoke-free facility.
