Inclusive Spaces at St. Louis Community College
St. Louis Community College is dedicated to providing safe and inclusive spaces to people of all abilities, cultures, religions, gender identities and gender expressions.
Because of this commitment, the College has instituted gender-inclusive and ADA-accessible restrooms, interfaith prayer and meditation rooms, and lactation rooms across our campuses.
Gender-Inclusive, ADA-Accessible Restrooms (Exceptions Noted)
Gender-inclusive, unisex restrooms provide facilities that can be inclusive to all individuals, regardless of their gender identity or presentation. The presence of single-occupancy and unisex restrooms may additionally be of importance to those with disabilities, those with caretakers, and families.

Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Rooms
Interfaith prayer and meditation rooms serve and support all members of the STLCC community. The spaces allow individuals of all religious faiths and non-religious beliefs to experience a place for peace, prayer, meditation and/or quiet reflection throughout the day.

Lactation Rooms
STLCC strongly supports employees and students who are nursing, and understands the need for a private, secure and clean space to express milk or nurse. Employees, students and guests may use the lactation rooms anytime during normal business hours.
