Personal Counseling

Counselors are available to assist you with personal issues that may be getting in the way of college success. Asking for help during vulnerable times is a sign of strength.

An open and honest discussion of feelings, behaviors, relationships and life experiences with a trained counselor in a safe, confidential environment enables individuals to grow, make healthy choices and achieve personal and educational goals. Counselors can help with issues related to:

  • Family problems 
  • Depression
  • Substance abuse
  • Motivational issues
  • Relationship issues 
  • Stress and anxiety

Counselors can recommend community services for psychological or psychiatric services.
