St. Louis Community College is a member of many prominent testing networks, including Pearson VUE, Castle Worldwide, and Certiport. To learn more about the exams that are offered, as well as registration and scheduling information, select your testing network below.

Testing Networks

 

Pearson VUE is a global leader in professional computer-based testing, partnering with regulatory and government agencies, certification boards, and organizations in nearly every industry. Our Pearson VUE Authorized Testing Center (PVTC) offers exams from more than 100 sponsors, including Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Missouri Department of Insurance, Missouri Educator Gateway Assessments (MEGA), and American College. Registration and Scheduling

All registration, scheduling and fee collection is conducted by Pearson VUE. To get started, visit the Pearson VUE Test Takers site and select your testing program. From the testing program’s page you can:

  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel an exam
  • Locate testing centers
  • View available exams
  • Find customer service contact information

Scantron (previously Castle Worldwide) offers comprehensive content services built on a history of developing quality high-stakes certification examinations for organizations that license or certify the expertise of professionals in various fields, including medical technology, engineering, athletic training, occupational therapy, and fitness.

Registration and Scheduling

All registration, scheduling and fee collection is conducted by Castle Worldwide. To get started, visit the Scantron website and select your testing program. Each testing program page will include specific instructions about registration and scheduling, as well as sample tests if available. Certiport is dedicated to helping people succeed through certification. Their globally recognized credentials are aimed at enhancing individual productivity, marketability, and value. Our Certiport Authorized Testing Center (CATC) currently offers certification exams from Adobe, Autodesk, IC3, Intuit QuickBooks, and Microsoft.

Registration and Scheduling

All Certiport exams require an active Certiport account and exam voucher. If you did not receive a voucher as part of a class, you may purchase one on the Certiport website.

  1. Create your Certiport account at www.certiport.com
  2. Purchase your necessary exam vouchers
  3. Assign the vouchers to your account
  4. Contact the STLCC Certification Testing Center to schedule your exam. You may schedule by phone at 314-539-5041 or by email at WSGTesting@stlcc.edu.

Proctoring Fees

The STLCC Certification Testing Center charges a $20 proctoring fee per exam. Proctoring fees are due at the time of testing and should be paid by cash or check.

NTN provides access to lists of prescreened candidates ready for further processing and employment consideration. NTN services are guaranteed to save public safety departments time and money!

Our PAN testing center offers employment and pre-employment exams for the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and more.

Registration and Scheduling

Most exams are scheduled by invitation only, as part of an employer’s or agency’s application process. Additional information about exams offered on the PAN platform can be found on the PSI PAN website or by calling 1-877-449-TEST (8378).

Prov offers construction-related and healthcare occupational exams for licensing and certification. For exam details visit the Prov website, and enter the name of your certification board in the Search for Test Information search bar.

All registration, scheduling, and fee collection is conducted by Prov. To register online visit the Prov Exam website, select the Test icon on the right-hand side of the page, and select Book a Test. To register by phone call 1-866-720-7768.

Important Policies and Procedures

Scheduling

All exams must be scheduled at least 24-hours in advance. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Certiport Exams

Purchase your Certiport Exam Voucher, then contact the Certification Testing Center at 314-539-5041 or WSGTesting@stlcc.edu to schedule your exam.

All Other Exams

Call or visit your testing network’s website to schedule.

Identification

Identification requirements vary by exam. Check with your exam sponsor’s guide for specifications.

All exams will require at least one form of valid identification that includes a recognizable photograph and signature. Identification must be original (not a photo copy or digital ID) and may not be expired. Universally accepted forms of identification include:

  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • State ID
  • Military ID

Arrival Time

Please arrive between 15-30 minutes before your appointment to provide enough time for check-in. The check-in process generally takes about 5 minutes per candidate. Candidates will be assisted in order of arrival. If there are questions about identification, registration, or any pretest qualifications, you will be asked to wait until other candidates are signed in. Your test will not begin until you are signed in and seated.

Candidates arriving more than 15 minutes late for an exam may be required to reschedule.

Personal Belongings

Personal belongings are not permitted in the testing room. These items include, but are not limited to:

  • Purses, wallets, watches, and keys
  • Electronic devices (phones, smartphones, tablets, e-readers, smart glasses, etc.)
  • Bags, briefcases, or backpacks
  • Notes, books, pens, and pencils
  • Coats, jackets, hats, scarves
  • Food and beverages (may be accessed during breaks)
  • Weapons of any kind are not allowed on the property

Candidates will be provided with a small locker to store belongings. Large items, such as backpacks, should not be brought into the facility. The Testing Center is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.

Accommodations

If you require testing accommodations, such as extended testing time, an exam reader, or screen magnification, you must submit an official request to your testing network, and receive approval, before your examination. Our testing center is unable to provide accommodations without pre-approval from the testing network.
