Meramec Student Government Hosts STLCC Board of Trustees Candidate Forum

St. Louis Community College-Meramec’s Student Governance Council will host a forum for the candidates running for the Subdistrict 3 seat on the College’s Board of Trustees on Tuesday, March 26.

The event will be held from 3-4 p.m. in Room 201 in the Student Center on campus, 11333 Big Bend Road. It is free and open to the public.

The election is Tuesday, April 2. The winner will serve a full six-year term.

Those who attend will hear from the two candidates vying for the Subdistrict 3 seat: Anne Adams Marshall, a 34-year employee of Neiman Marcus in retail sales, and Paula Savarino, retired auxiliary service manager at STLCC-Meramec.

Following a short presentation from each candidate, both will answer questions from members of the Student Governance Council, followed by questions from the audience.

Subdistrict 3 includes southern and southwest portions of St. Louis City, and the Maplewood-Richmond Heights, Affton, Bayless, Brentwood, Kirkwood and Webster Groves school districts.
