Title IX Online Education Program

Title IX requires that institutions of higher education provide information to students and employees about policies and resources related to sexual harassment and other forms of sexual misconduct (dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking). For the past several years, you have been asked to complete the “Sexual Harassment Tutorial.” With recent changes in legislation and increased expectations regarding the obligations of colleges and universities, STLCC is implementing a new format for delivering this important information. This product was developed by EverFi Haven, which has been nationally recognized for its use of the latest prevention and science-based research to educate about the impact of sexual violence.

Students, faculty and staff can all access this new online prevention program via Blackboard. Log in with your username and password (the same one you use to access your STLCC email).

  • Students: Once logged into Blackboard, look for the “Haven for Students” tab along the top. Then click the “Launch Haven for Students” tab and start the program.
  • Faculty and Staff: Once logged into Blackboard, click on the Communities tab along the top. You’ll see a “Title IX Online Program for Faculty and Staff Box.” Click the “Launch Haven for Faculty and Staff” tab to start the program.

This online course has two parts. You’ve not completed the program until both parts are finished. Part 1 takes about 45 – 60 minutes to complete. About 30 days after completing Part 1, you’ll receive an email prompting you to take Part 2 which takes 10 – 15 minutes to complete.
