- Apply - Complete the "visiting student" application if you’re home from college for the summer and want to take summer courses at STLCC. (Tip: graduating high school seniors, attending college elsewhere this fall, should complete the non-degree seeking selected courses application.)
Get connected - Activate your MySTLCC username and email by entering your student A number, last name and date of birth.
Plan your summer classes - Use our Interactive Class Schedule to explore our summer courses. But before you register, make sure to check with your academic advisor at your home university to make sure the courses you choose transfer.
Contact an STLCC academic advisor if you have question about course selection and/or prerequisites. Some courses, such as math and English, will need you to prove you meet course prerequisites before you can register. In most cases, unofficial transcripts, report cards and current college or university schedules can allow academic advisors to verify prerequisite completion.
To request a prerequisite override for the class(es) you want: contact an academic advisor via email with the following information:1. Your Student ID (A-number), example: A12345678
2. Semester in which you want to register (i.e. summer)
3. Class (i.e. PSY 201)
4. Attach evidence that shows you meet the prerequisite. Example: attach a screen shot of your current college class schedule, unofficial transcript, or ACT scores. Note: ACT scores must not be older than 3 years.
An academic advisor will confirm with you once an override has been entered.
Get ready for the summer term! - Now that you’re officially enrolled, prepare for classes. Get your STLCC OneCard, pick up your parking pass and Metro U-Pass and buy your books so you are ready to make the most of your summer at STLCC.
Let STLCC be your home away from home this summer, as you earn credits toward your degree at nearly half the cost of a public, four-year university.
Taking classes at STLCC is a great way to make the most of your summer. In just a few hours a week, you can take classes that easily transfer to your home university, so when you head back in the fall, you’ll be even closer to reaching your goals.
Registering is easy. Follow these steps and get started today.
