Child Care Grant Opportunities

CCAMPIS - Childcare Access Means Parents in School

The CCAMPIS grant is a federal program that aids Pell Grant-eligible
St. Louis Community College students with the cost of child care. Children ages six weeks to 12 years, who are enrolled or are enrolling in a quality licensed and accredited child care center, are eligible.

Each CCAMPIS student is awarded a set dollar amount for child care expenses for the semester based on the student’s credit hours, level of income and travel/study time. If chosen as a CCAMPIS grant participant, you will be required to attend at least one CCAMPIS workshop.

CCAMPIS enrollment will take place two weeks prior to the beginning of the fall/spring semesters and during the first four weeks of the fall/spring semesters based on availability.

CCAMPIS Fall 2015 enrollment will take place Aug. 10 – Sept. 21.

STLCC students applying for the CCAMPIS grant should submit the following:

  1. Provide a copy of an official course schedule which reflects Pell grant eligibility. (Internet copies are not allowed.)
  2. Provide a copy of your Student Aid Report
  3. Complete a CCAMPIS Application form

Please submit these three items to the CCAMPIS office location on your campus.
