Information on the I-64 Project

With the construction of the new I-64, St. Louis Community College wants to make your commute easier, especially if attending the Forest Park campus. The college recommends the following Web sites to help you plan your commute and keep you up-to-date with the latest traffic news.

  • "Map My Trip" is a tool provided by MoDot to help travelers avoid highway and ramp closures due to construction in the St. Louis area. Travel may be plotted from any origin or destination, but accurate information on highway and ramp closures is limited to St. Louis city and county only. This map is one suggested route for your travels and does not necessarily reflect the fastest route based on the real-time traffic conditions. Map your trip.
  • For weekly lane closures, visit another MoDot sponsored Web site.
  • For current travel times and live traffic information on St. Louis highways, visit the Gateway Guide.

Metro Transit System

Metro has launched their new website www.dontgetstuck.org. This site is devoted to providing tips on using the MetroLink or MetroBus transit system to avoid driving altogether.

Don't forget Metro offers a full semester pass with unlimited trips for only $125.00 or about a 50% savings off the regular price. This pass is limited to full-time students, ages 23 and under. Contact Metro for more information.
