Florissant Valley offers intercollegiate competition in soccer, basketball, baseball, and track and field for men, and softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and track and field for women. Florissant Valley is committed to providing quality opportunities in athletics that enhance the student's educational experience.

Florissant Valley teams have won national championships in men's and women's soccer as well as volleyball. More than 200 Florissant Valley athletes have earned All-American honors, and 20 have earned Academic All-American recognition.

St. Louis Community College athletic teams compete as members of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The Athletics department offers scholarship opportunities for men and women to participate in six different intercollegiate sports. Students interested in eligibility requirements should contact the respective head coach or the Athletics department secretary.

This week at the Valley

• Physicals will be offered on Wed. July 29th from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at St. Louis Orthopedic and Sportsmedicine 1001 S.Kirkwood Rd.

• ALL ATHLETES MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN TRYOUTS ON AUG. 1.
