Athletics

Florissant Valley offers intercollegiate competition in soccer, basketball, baseball, and track and field for men, and softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and track and field for women. Florissant Valley is committed to providing quality opportunities in athletics that enhance the student's educational experience.

Effective July 1, 2010, Florissant Valley will discontinue fielding teams in men's baseball, as well as men's and women's track and field. Baseball will only be offered at the Meramec campus. If you wish to compete in this sport, visit Meramec athletics for information.

Florissant Valley teams have won national championships in men's and women's soccer as well as volleyball. More than 200 Florissant Valley athletes have earned All-American honors, and 20 have earned Academic All-American recognition.

St. Louis Community College athletic teams compete as members of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The Athletics department offers scholarship opportunities for men and women to participate in six different intercollegiate sports. Students interested in eligibility requirements should contact the respective head coach or the Athletics manager.
