Ways to Give

Your gifts are vital to the mission of St. Louis Community College. Donations to the foundation allow the college to assist students and faculty, provide funding for new services and programs, improve facilities and build partnerships with corporate and community leaders. The college is dedicated to providing a quality, affordable education to all eligible students. Keeping tuition and fees affordable for our students requires the college to look to private donors for the support needed to maintain its excellence. The need for new instructional technologies, in addition to increased utility costs and the need for new student services, all contribute to the rising cost of tuition. The list of needs continues to grow, but there are few new sources of revenue to meet those challenges. The only area of support with the potential for long-term growth is private support.

Listed below are a few of the ways you can contribute to STLCC through the foundation to ensure that our students continue to receive a high-quality education.

Stocks & Bonds: Gifts of appreciated securities can give the donor attractive tax benefits while helping the college. The foundation can assist you in arranging a transfer.

Corporate Matching Gifts: If you (or your spouse) work for a company that matches your donations, enclose a form with your gift and we will request a match. More than 900 corporations match or overmatch their employees’ charitable donations.

Real Estate and Personal Property: Personal residences, vacation homes and commercial property can be suitable to the college’s needs and provide tax benefits to the donor. We also welcome gifts of books, art, equipment or automobiles.

Planned Gifts: You can provide for the college in your will or trust, turn over a life insurance policy that is no longer needed, or make the college a beneficiary of your retirement plan. These opportunities will not only help the college, but also can help ease your tax liability.

Check or Credit Card: Traditional donations always are accepted. Print the gift form and submit with your credit card information or a check made payable to the St. Louis Community College Foundation and mail it to:
