Metropolitan Education and Training Center
The Metropolitan Education and Training (MET) Center is an innovative training and education center, centrally located on the MetroLink corridor for easy access, that offers short-term training courses and other resources. MET is the starting point for unemployed and underemployed area residents to brush up on their skills, experience hands-on training and then enter the workplace. Indeed, for many participants, the MET Center can be the bridge not only to employment, but also to further college coursework. MET courses are the steppingstones for continuing learning at area colleges and institutions.
- MET offers a comprehensive set of assessment, job readiness and career/technically focused job training, placement and career development services.
- Get on the fast track to a rewarding career with non-traditional, focused, comprehensive job training that prepares you to meet current workforce demands.
- Hundreds of MET graduates are working for local employers in well-paying, skilled jobs -- and so can you.
- The MET team understands that our success depends on your success.
