Outplacement Services
We Provide Help for Companies Experiencing Closures and Cutbacks
Downsizing is a reality in today's work place. The Employment and Training Center offers Outplacement Services to ease the transition of employees.
All organizations forced to downsize or layoff are faced with the stress, low employee morale and decline in productivity that accompanies these decisions. Many of these negatives can be eliminated through use of the no cost services available through the Missouri Career Centers.
Outplacement representatives advise company, community and collective bargaining units of state and local services available to assist companies in times of closure or layoffs. Representatives are available to conduct informational meetings for the employees who will be laid off.
We will assist companies to:
- Plan an orderly exit program for laid off workers
- Refer displaced workers to other jobs
- Perform skills testing and assessment programs for workers
- Direct workers to services and benefits from state, local and community agencies
- Train workers for new careers
- Conduct job search and specialized workshops
- Applicant skill testing
