St. Louis Community College is the Missouri Lead College for Global Corporate College

St. Louis Community College has been the Missouri lead college for Global Corporate College, a non-profit consortium of colleges, since 2008. The Corporate Services unit of the Workforce Solutions Group is the unit that actively participates in the GCC consortium to provide standardized enterprise-wide training and development services. Corporate Services is able to assist local St. Louis businesses with their national and international workforce solutions through active membership in GCC.

The inaugural group of transportation security officers taking courses through a joint program between St. Louis Community College and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) were honored at a special ceremony at Lambert St. Louis International Airport. The participants completed the three credit courses required for the TSA Certificate of Achievement. They began their studies in fall 2010. They now have earned nine hours of STLCC credit and will have the opportunity to earn an associate degree in homeland security or a related field. The National TSA Associates Program is managed by the TSA Office of Training and Workforce Engagement.
