Mobile Clients
iPhone: These are setup instructions for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad running iOS version 4.3.x:
- Go to Settings.
- Click on Mail, Contacts and Calendars.
- Click on Add Account.
- Select Microsoft Exchange and enter the following information:
- E-mail: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Domain: leave this field blank
- Username: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Password: your MySTLCC ID password
- Description: Student e-mail
- Click Next. If you receive a warning about an unknown certificate, simply click continue.
- When it asks for a server enter “pod51019.outlook.com” and click next.
- Decide which services you want to sync. Warning – if you sync calendars or contacts, you will be asked whether you wish to keep your existing calendars and contacts. If you do not select Keep Contacts or Keep Calendars, they will be permanently erased.
Windows Mobile
- On the phone, click Start then ActiveSync.
- Click Menu, then click Configure Server.
- Enter the server address: m.outlook.com.
- Check the box for “This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection.”
- On the following screen, fill in the following information:
- Username: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Password:MySTLCC ID password
- Domain: my.stlcc.edu
- Click Save password.
- Select which information you want to sync with your phone and click Finish.
Android: If you do not currently have an e-mail account configured, follow these steps:
- From the home screen, click E-mail.
- Fill in the following information when prompted:
- E-mail: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Password: your MySTLCC ID password
- Click Manual setup and select Exchange for the account type. Fill in the following information:
- Domain: blank
- Username: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Password: your MySTLCC password
- Server: pod51019.outlook.com
- Select Accept all SSL Certificates
- Click Next and customize settings for email storage and notification.
- Enter MySTLCC ID for the account name and type your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing messages.
BlackBerry
- Click E-mail Settings in your BlackBerry menu.
- Click the Add button and select a POP/IMAP account type if asked.
- Check the option to “provide settings to add this email account” and click next.
- Enter your mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu email address along with your MySTLCC password.
- On the next screen enter the following information:
- Email address: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- User name: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Password: your MySTLCC ID password
- E-ma server: pod51019.outlook.com
- Port: 995
- Encryption: use SSL
- When asked for an outgoing email server, enter the following information:
- User name: mystlccid@my.stlcc.edu
- Password: your MySTLCC password
- Email server: pod51019.outlook.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption: use TLS
- Your phone should now be able to send and receive e-mails through your MySTLCC account. If you have trouble, you can find information specific to your phone and carrier on the BlackBerry website.
