Consultation
Counselors are available to consult with faculty members regarding problematic issues related to students, as well as issues of a personal nature.
Classroom Presentations
Counselors are available for classroom presentations on topics such as:
- Assertiveness
- Career choice
- Self-esteem
- Stress management
- Test anxiety
- Time management
- Other topics, as requested
Counseling Emergencies
A counseling emergency is defined by an unexpected occurrence that is disruptive; for example, a student who is extremely upset or agitated. To reach a counselor in case of an emergency, there are three options:
1. Accompany the student to the campus' Counseling Center.
2. Call the Counseling receptionist and indicate you have a student emergency.
