Child Care Grant Opportunities

CCAMPIS - Childcare Access Means Parents in School

The CCAMPIS grant is a federal program that aids Pell grant eligible
St. Louis Community College students with the cost of child care. Children ages two to 12 years, who are enrolled or are enrolling in a quality licensed and accredited child care center, are eligible.

Each CCAMPIS student is awarded a set dollar amount for child care expenses for the semester based on the student’s credit hours, level of income and travel/study time. If chosen as a CCAMPIS grant participant,you will be required to attend at least one CCAMPIS workshop.

CCAMPIS enrollment will take place two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester and during the first four weeks of each semester. Spring 2012 enrollment runs Jan. 3-Feb. 12.

STLCC STUDENTS APPLYING FOR THE CCAMPIS GRANT  SHOULD SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Provide a copy of an official course schedule which reflects Pell grant eligibility. (Internet copies are not allowed.)
  2. Provide a copy of your Student Aid Report. 
  3. Complete a CCAMPIS Application form. 

Please submit these three items to the CCAMPIS office location on your campus.
