Athletics, Soccer

Participation in athletics at any level can teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, dedication and time management. St. Louis Community College is committed to providing quality competitive athletic opportunities to enhance our students’ educational experience.

STLCC has consolidated intercollegiate athletics into a districtwide program, effective July 1, 2011. STLCC student-athletes have the opportunity to compete in men’s baseball, basketball and soccer; and women’s basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball. Students attending any STLCC  campus who meet eligibility requirements may compete on these teams.

Teams have been assigned to the campuses as follows:

  • Florissant Valley – volleyball and men’s soccer
  • Forest Park – men’s and women’s basketball
  • Meramec – baseball, softball and women’s soccer

STLCC’s athletic teams compete as members of the National Junior College Athletic Association and Midwest Community College Athletic Conference.

The Athletics department offers scholarship opportunities for men and women to participate in several intercollegiate sports. Students interested in eligibility requirements should contact Johnna Kinney or Sharon Marquardt, athletics managers, for more information.
