Speech Assistance
Florissant Valley Speech Lab offers one-on-one speech assistance from a friendly Flo public speaking teacher. Amy can help you with every aspect of your individual or group speech. Assistance includes help in choosing a topic, organizing information, outlining, compiling visual aids, verbal and nonverbal delivery, researching ideas, discussing speech anxiety, and video recording.
- Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are preferred!
- Appointments receive first priority.
- Each session lasts 30 minutes or less.
The Speech Lab is located in the bottom of the Student Center across from the bookstore in the quiet study area. Hours will be posted every semester on the speech lab glass door. Please book your appt. today!

Meramec - The communications department faculty who staff the center can provide assistance for any communication related assignment for any class. Common assignments are; presentations, interviews, and group projects. We are especially interested in serving general education students and faculty. Located in room 233 of the Communications North building, hours will be posted each fall and spring semester.
