WEAR YOUR CAP AND GOWN TO SCOTTRADE CENTER
Please come dressed in your cap and gown, ready to take that special walk! Changing areas are not provided by Scottrade Center. We suggest that men wear dark slacks and a light shirt under their gowns. We also suggest women wear a light-colored outfit under their gowns. The cap is traditionally placed on the head so the mortarboard is horizontal to the ground, rather than perched at an angle. The tassel hangs on the right. Bobby pins work well to anchor the cap securely to the head. The cap and gown are yours to keep. You do not need to return them to the Bookstore.
PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE AT SCOTTRADE CENTER BY 10 A.M., SATURDAY, MAY 17TH
Scottrade Center is located at 1401 Clark Ave. All graduates should arrive by 10 a.m., and should use the 15th Street and Walnut Street entrance. Please proceed down one level to Scottrade Center floor, where student ambassadors will direct you to your campus's staging area. There will be no rehearsal prior to the ceremony. Guests should enter through one of the three public entrances at Scottrade Center: the Main Entrance at the corner of Clark Ave. and 14th St.; the West Entrance on Clark Ave., adjacent to the attached parking garage; or the 14th Street Entrance on 14th St., just north of Clark Ave.
PLEASE PICK UP YOUR REGISTRATION CARD FROM YOUR CAMPUS TABLE
Student Ambassadors will direct you to the Meramec registration area. You will receive an index card with your name for use during the ceremony. Please keep the card with you until it is your turn to walk on stage. A faculty marshal will assist you in lining up in alphabetical order. Please have final adjustments to your cap and gown completed, and have your index card ready for the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, the card will be given to the photographer by the faculty marshal.
