Associate in Arts Degree in Mathematics is a 70-credit-hour program that provides students with the first two years of study toward a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university in the areas of mathematics, engineering, actuarial science, computer science, secondary education or statistics.
Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the mathematics or other major program at the school to which they plan to transfer and work with STLCC advisors to plan a program to meet those requirements.
Articulation agreements between STLCC and other colleges/universities in Missouri provide that students will not lose credits when they transfer if they enroll in the appropriate courses. While graduates are accepted as juniors in Missouri colleges, other institutions may have different requirements. Students should decide early which four-year college or university they will attend and coordinate their courses with that institution's requirements.
