Certificate of Proficiency (M)

Certificate of Proficiency in Kitchen and Bath Design is a 30-credit-hour program designed to emphasize the visual and oral communication skills needed for the development of functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath design.

This program is skill-oriented and emphasizes the visual and oral communication skills necessary for the development of functional and aesthetically pleasing residential kitchen and bath design. In addition, students will become familiar with local and national trade, professional and industry resources.

Students who complete the certificate program will have associations with the National Kitchen and Bath Association and will be eligible to sit for the AKBD (Associate Kitchen and Bath Design) exam. Graduates also will be qualified for entry-level positions in the kitchen and bath industry.
