Associate in Applied Science in International Business is a 66 to 72-credit-hour program for persons who are interested in a career in international business.
Certificate of Proficiency in International Business is a 30 to 33-credit-hour program designed for people interested in a career change, people currently employed in international business and current or potential business owners.
Certificate of Specialization in International Business is a 12-credit-hour program that allows students to concentrate on the essential international business courses.
The International Business program prepares students for careers in a variety of international business positions. This program combines a blend of international business, general business and liberal arts courses to prepare students for international business transactions. Graduates will be familiar with identifying potential markets; securing licensing; financing and insurance; preparing goods for transit; and completing required documentation. This program is designed for persons who are unfamiliar with fundamental business concepts and have little business background.
Graduates of the International Business program are prepared to enter the work force as export administrators, international sales administrators and coordinators, customer service representatives, assistants to international business directors, export correspondents, documentation specialists, international trafficking managers, export clerks, operations clerks and export sales specialists.
