Marilyn (Kay) Hagan

Kay is an NCIDQ qualified professional interior designer who has maintained a residential and commercial interior design practice for over thirty years. At St. Louis Community College, she has served as interior design program director for over twenty years and as art department chair for four years. Kay has served as president of the MO-East Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers; as treasurer, vice-president and president of the Missouri Coalition of Interior Designers, and as member of the National ASID Student Advisory Council. Kay created and sponsored the Interior Design Club at Meramec. As club sponsor, she has directed students in over twenty five community service projects, and served as their tour guide for educational trips to Springfield and Chicago, Illinois and to Paris. She co-founded BOARDWALK, the annual regional ASID/IIDA/NKBA annual interior design awards and gallery exhibition

Kay recently retired from full-time teaching. She works full-time at her interior design and consulting firm, Hagan Associates, Inc, and continues as an adjunct faculty member at St. Louis Community College.
