Graphic Communications

This program two degree paths: the Associate in Applied Science and the Associate in Fine Arts. Both degree options provide a solid foundation for students in commercial art. Careers include graphic design, advertising, animation, illustration, web design, game design, and other commercial fields. Students develop skills in drawing and design and integrate these with digital techniques needed to communicate client messages.

Students learn animation, storyboarding, illustration, graphic design, web design, motion graphics, etc. Students create in digital environments that meet industry standards. Opportunities for Graphic
Communications graduates include transfer to 4-year institutions and pursing entry-level positions in graphics and other design fields.
