Michael Quintero

Michael Omichi Quintero was born in Okinawa, Japan and grew up in South Texas. He has taught at Denison University and Indiana University - South Bend. In addition, he served as Senior Technician in the sculpture facility at the University of Notre Dame and as Associate Curator of Exhibitions and Education at the South Bend Regional Museum of Art.

He has exhibited his work extensively. His sculpture and installations are informed by animism, Buddhism, existentialism, Mesoamerican art and architecture, and eco-feminism.
