Early Care and Education - Developmental Disabilities

Associate in Applied Science Degree (FV, M)

Associate in Applied Science Degree in Early Care and Education -- Developmental Disabilities Option is a 68-credit hour program of study with a concentration of coursework in early education, special education, child development and family studies also includes practice teaching (ECE 105, 203, 206) in a special needs setting. Students who complete the AAS degree with a Disabilities Option can find employment in preschool, day care, and special school district programs, as well as instructional aides in elementary schools or as parent educators in the Missouri Parents as Teachers Program.
