St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley will host a Career and Networking Fair, Thursday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Center Multipurpose Room. The campus is located at 3400 Pershall Road in Ferguson.

During this event, more than 80 employers will be on hand to share information about full-time, part-time and internship positions. In addition to gaining insight on employment opportunities, job seekers will be able to discover new career paths while expanding their professional networks.

“The Career and Networking Fair provides a wonderful opportunity for students, alumni and community members to meet with area employers and learn about jobs and internships,” said Michela Walsh, manager of Career and Employment Services at STLCC-Florissant Valley. “We look forward to building upon the success of our past career fair, which enabled more than 150 job seekers to connect with dozens of employers.”

From hospitality and health care, to information technology, customer service, nonprofit management and more, this fair will feature employers from a variety of industries. Students interested in continuing their education after STLCC will also have the opportunity to speak with representatives from educational transfer institutions.

Professional attire is required. Job seekers are encouraged to bring a supply of resumes.
