STLCC Offers Assistance to Aid ITT Tech Students in Transfer Process

September 08, 2016

St. Louis Community College is working to help students of the now defunct ITT Tech complete their college education. The college is creating pathways to help ITT students transfer their credits to STLCC so they can complete their degree or certificate.

STLCC will work to provide ITT students the opportunity to transfer select courses they have already taken to STLCC.

STLCC is currently reviewing ITT coursework that may transfer in fields such as cybersecurity, software development, health information technology, criminal justice and engineering technology. The college will also review other courses as requested.

In addition, STLCC utilizes processes such as Prior Learning Assessment and cross-walking of credit that provides faculty at the college the opportunity to examine coursework taken at other institutions for potential use in degree or certificate programs.
