Kevin Stewart, Ed.D.

Kevin Stewart  

Kevin D. Stewart has served as the vice chancellor for academic and student affairs at Central Louisiana Technical Community College since 2013. He is responsible for the overall academic integrity and student service delivery for more than 2,500 students receiving associate degrees, technical diplomas and certificates. CLTCC is comprised of seven campuses, three satellite sites and provides education in four state prisons and two federal prisons.

Before joining CLTCC, Stewart served as the vice president/chief operating officer for the Interdenominational Theological Center. Under his leadership, Stewart expanded college services, established new community partnerships, and facilitated the development and implementation of new academic programs.

He has overseen new capital projects, including the development of satellite sites and expansions of existing facilities.

Stewart also has held administrative posts at Concordia College-Selma and Edward Waters College, and he was a faculty member at Temple University.

Stewart earned his educational doctorate in community college leadership from Morgan State University. He holds a master’s degree in human services from Lincoln University, and a bachelor’s degree in public administration from George Mason University.
