Jeff. L. Pittman has served as the statewide vice president of corporate college services and online education at Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana since January 2013.

Ivy Tech is Indiana’s community college system, with 30 campuses in 14 regions. It is the state’s largest public postsecondary institution and the nation’s largest singly-accredited statewide community college system, annually serving nearly 200,000 students.

Pittman is responsible for statewide budget oversight and meeting revenue goals. He oversaw reorganization of the department through budget reduction and development of a lean organization for delivery of Corporate College customized workforce training and services to business, industry and individuals throughout the state.

He also led Ivy Tech Online, which represents the college’s statewide credit online and distance education program.
Pittman also served as chancellor of Ivy Tech’s Wabash Valley Region for a year, and statewide vice provost for distance education for three years. Under Pittman’s leadership, the college’s enrollment in distance education doubled from slightly more than 32,728 in 2008 to 65,470 in 2010.

Pittman’s doctorate in educational leadership, administration and foundations is from Indiana State University. His master’s degree in human resource development is from Indiana State University, and his bachelor’s degree in business is from Indiana University.
