Rod Nunn has served as interim president at St. Louis Community College’s Forest Park campus since May 2014.

Prior to this appointment, he was vice chancellor for economic development and workforce solutions, and directed a number of programs in support of St. Louis' burgeoning knowledge economy, the community and its citizens.

Specifically, Nunn oversaw the Corporate College, the Workforce Solutions Group and the Continuing Education division. His team also supported the Center for Workforce Innovation.

Before joining the college in 2008, Nunn directed the public workforce system for three governors in both Missouri and Illinois.

Under Nunn's leadership, the college's workforce development team won numerous national, state and local awards, including: 2012 Education Innovator of the Year, Missouri Chamber of Commerce; 2012 Top Workforce Development Provider, Training Industry, Inc.; 2012 Exemplary Program Award, National Council for Workforce Education; 2012 Business Development Award, North County, Inc.; 2011 Growing Green Award, USBGC Missouri Gateway Chapter; 2010 Innovation of the Year, League for Innovation in the Community College; 2009 Innovative Industry Training Award, Department of Economic Development.

Nunn has a doctor of management from the University of Maryland-University College's community college policy and administration program. Nunn holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.
