Brian Malow, the “Earth’s (self-proclaimed) Premier Science Comedian,” will bring his special brand of humor to St. Louis Community College-Meramec at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the theatre on campus, 11333 Big Bend Road.

Malow has appeared on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS, co-hosted “Hacking the Planet” and “The Truth about Twisters” on The Weather Channel, and on Tech TV, Discovery and A&E. He has performed for groups such as the American Chemical Society, Scholastic Library Publishing, Apple, Dell and Microsoft.

The Washington Times said of Malow: “It’s as much about expanding the mind as tickling the funny bone.”

In addition to comedy, Malow works in science communication for the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, N.C., and blogs for Scientific American.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The show is free and open to the public. Seating is general admission on a first-come basis.
