Peterson Lecture Series Features Snappin’ Sistas Oct. 14

September 09, 2014

Snappin Sistas book

The Peterson Lecture Series at St. Louis Community College-Meramec presents “Secret Spots for Photo Ops -- A Lecture by the Snappin’ Sistas” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Lecture Hall Room 103 on campus, 11333 Big Bend Road.

Join the Snappin’ Sistas, three photographers and wacky, fun-loving friends who have written a book, “Secret Spots for Photo Ops in Missouri and Illinois.” This is a zany non-tourist travel guide to unusual places that are within 150 miles of downtown St. Louis. They will be presenting their light-hearted approach to photography and discussing what it takes to “Not Just Look, but REALLY See” the world from a different perspective. Who couldn’t stand to ramp up their creative juices and side-step tedium? You may never look at photography the same way again.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information about the Snappin’ Sistas, visit snappinsistas.ipage.com.
