Kimack Named STLCC Director of Public Information and Marketing

Dan Kimack, a communications consultant and former executive at Fleishman-Hillard Inc., has been named the director of public information and marketing for St. Louis Community College.
Kimack is responsible for STLCC’s public information and marketing programs, including public relations, media and community relations, social media, advertising, internal communications, website, and graphic design. He also is responsible for developing brand and image strategies as well as the district’s communications plan.
Prior to joining STLCC, Kimack was a marketing and communications consultant for iNCLINE Communications. He provided adaptive marketing, communications, branding, media relations, crisis strategy and counsel to large and small marketing and public relations agencies and clients.
Kimack was the vice president for marketing and communications at Fleishman-Hillard Inc. His responsibilities included marketing, branding, media relations, employee communications, social and emerging media counsel, corporate reputation expertise, and crisis management counsel for a variety of national and international clients.
Kimack also served as the manager of corporate communications for Save-A-Lot Ltd., a corporate writer for Stifel Nicolaus & Co., Inc., and the director of communications and advertising for the Missouri Athletic Club.
A graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Kimack has won Silver Anvil awards from the Public Relations Society of America, as well as Gold and Silver SABRE awards from the Holmes Group.
