STLCC Men Face MCC-Penn Valley Saturday at Florissant Valley

The St. Louis Community College men’s basketball team will try to rebound from a two-point loss to Mid-South Community College when they take on Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley Saturday (Jan. 11) at 3 p.m.

 

The game is being played at STLCC’s Florissant Valley gymnasium due to wet conditions at the Archers’ home floor at Forest Park.

 

The Archers (10-5) are 2-2 in their last four contests, including a 99-97 shootout loss to Mid-South Community College Jan. 4.

 

STLCC is outscoring its opponents by double digits, averaging 93.3 points a game and limiting the opposition to 78.8 points a contest.

 

Sophomore forward Randy Reed II is the Archers’ top scorer and rebounder, averaging 22.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Cortez Conners is the only other player averaging double points in scoring at 18.6 points a game. Freshman guard Sean Robinson is close to double digits at 9.9 points per game.
