Special Cancer Awareness T-shirts similar to the one pictured above will be on sale Feb. 8 at the STLCC women's and men's basketball games at the Meramec campus.
The third annual Cancer Awareness Basketball Game is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at St. Louis Community College-Meramec.
The game is played in memory of Mike Ethridge, father of women’s head coach Shelly Ethridge. There will be a silent auction, raffles, drawings, giveaways and T-shirt sales during the game. All proceeds will benefit Kane Weinberg, a young cancer patient.
T-shirts at the game will be on sale for $15 (sizes small-XL) and $17 (sizes XXL and larger). The short-sleeve shirt features a ribbon and the word “Believe” on the front and the Archers logo with “Women’s Basketball” on the back. Cash and checks will be accepted. Check must be made payable to Michelle Ethridge. Donations also are being accepted.
Those unable to attend the game may still order a T-shirt by printing this form. Checks should be made payable to Michelle Ethridge and mailed to her attention at St. Louis Community College-Meramec, 11333 Big Bend Road, St. Louis, MO 63122.
