Noah Receives First UMB Bank Endowed Scholarship

St. Louis Community College student Naquittia Noah is the first recipient of the UMB Bank Endowed Scholarship in Business Administration.
Noah, the mother of a 14-year-old son who also is working two part-time jobs, is studying business administration at STLCC-Florissant Valley.
“This scholarship means that the persistence and dedication that I have put into obtaining and completing my educational goals hasn’t gone unnoticed and is truly appreciated,” Noah said.
UMB established the endowed scholarship at the STLCC Foundation’s 2012 Falling in Love in Five Courses gala.
“Supporting our community and those who are making it a better place to live has always been a priority at UMB,” said Tom Chulick, chair and CEO of UMB Bank in St. Louis. “Naquittia is absolutely deserving of this scholarship, which can be seen by the dedication she has to her studies and her family, and we are looking forward to her bright future.”
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must meet a list of criteria, including enrollment at STLCC, interest in banking, finance or economics, and a minimum grade-point average of 3.0. Applications also are available in the Financial Aid office at each campus. Students must submit a completed application to a campus Financial Aid office.
