Tony Dattoli, head coach of the St. Louis Community College baseball team, has resigned, effective immediately. Dattoli spent 11 seasons at the helm of STLCC baseball programs.

Scott Goodrich, who formerly played under Dattoli at Harris-Stowe State University and has been an assistant coach at STLCC since 2002, will take over as head coach.

Dattoli's squads captured the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference championship in 2006 as well as the Region XVI crown that same year. A two-time MCCAC Coach of the Year Award recipient, Dattoli also was named Region XVI Coach of the Year in 2006 as well as the American Baseball Coaches Association Regional Coach of the Year for NJCAA Division I.

Dattoli will remain in his position as the STLCC Physical Education department chair and a physical education instructor at Meramec.
