Faculty, Staff and Students in "Forest Park Follies"

A strong pool of local talent will entertain for the one-night-only “Forest Park Follies” at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 23, in the Mildred E. Bastian Center for the Performing Arts at St. Louis Community College-Forest Park, 5600 Oakland Ave.

It is free and open to the public.

Some of the talent acts include Forest Park faculty, staff and students. The lineup includes: The Wheat Brothers featuring Gene Gardner and Tom Zirkle; Carla Moody and Mary Hurley in a scene from "Hello from Bertha"; Greg Carr, Rodney Payne, Derrick Owens, Bev Brennan, Mariah Richardson, Linda Stewart, Markeith Childress and friends; Talya Perry, Sandra Osburn and company in Malaysian dance; Craig Mueller; some of Zirkle's music students; and more.

The event will also be the kick-off to the Arts & Education Council 2013 Workplace Giving Campaign, and those donating will be entered into a drawing for free performing arts tickets. The campaign will continue until April 4.
