February 25, 2013

St. Louis Community College at Forest Park’s Master Class Series Special Edition will host the City of St. Louis Mayoral Town Hall Meeting with the three Democratic mayoral candidates on Wednesday, Feb. 27  at 6 p.m. in the Mildred E. Bastian Center for the Performing Arts, 5600 Oakland Ave.

Mayor Francis Slay, the three-term incumbent seeking a record fourth term, Aldermanic Board President Lewis Reed and former alderman Jimmie Matthews plan to attend. They are the three Democrats on the ballot in the March 5 primary. The city election is April 2.

STLCC is partnering with the following community organizations:  The League of Women Voters, The Greater St Louis Association of Black Journalists and the St Louis Business Journal to host this program.

For the past three semesters, the Forest Park Business Club's Master Class Series has featured stories from business leaders about their professional successes and failures as well as personal triumphs and disappointments. Every business leader has a story and there's something to be learned from every experience: What guides and drives them to do their best, what life lessons have they learned and are willing to share with our students.
