"The House of Yes" at Meramec Theatre Nov. 14-18

November 06, 2012

House of Yes
"The House of Yes" runs Nov. 14-18

The Meramec Theatre presents “The House of Yes” by Wendy MacLeod 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14-17 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Meramec Theatre.

The production is directed by Michelle Rebollo, with set design by Darren Thompson.

It’s Thanksgiving, and Marty’s arrival home is greatly anticipated by his mother, Mrs. Pascal, his twin sister, Jackie-O, and his younger brother, Anthony. He arrives during a hurricane, but worse than the storm is the fact that Marty brings Lesly, his fiancée. Marty’s engagement is a threat to the well-being of this family and a greater threat to Jackie-O, who always has wanted her brother for herself. Jackie-O has just recently been released from a mental hospital, Anthony dropped out of Princeton, and their mother has a serious problem handling all of this. The family is severely affected by the Kennedy family, whose Virginia Compound makes them neighbors with the Pascals.

“The House of Yes” is free and open to the public.

Due to content, the play is for mature audiences only. Seating is open and on a first-come basis.
