Meramec Theatre Presents “The Secret in the Wings”

The Secret in the Wings  

The Meramec Theatre presents Mary Zimmerman’s “The Secret in the Wings” April 11-14 at 7:30 p.m. and April 15 at 2 p.m. in the Meramec Theatre on campus, 11333 Big Bend Road.

Developed by Chicago-based Lookingglass Theatre Company (2011 Regional Theatre Tony Award winner) and adapted by Zimmerman, “The Secret in the Wings” is a retelling of fairy tales in the Brothers Grimm tradition.
Zimmerman weaves a tapestry and verbal and theatrical spectacle in the reimagined telling of “Beauty and the Beast,” and “The Three Blind Queens,” “The Princess Who Wouldn’t Laugh,” “Allerliah” and “Silent for Seven Years.”

Directed by Michelle Rebollo and designed by Darren Thompson, “The Secret in the Wings” is suitable for audiences of all ages. For more information about the production, call 314-984-7562.
