Auditions for "Medea, A Homegirl's Story" Slated March 1-2

Auditions for Mary Krell-Oishi's “Medea, A Homegirl’s Story,”  will take place 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 1, and Friday, March 2, in the Mildred E. Bastian Center for the Performing Arts at St. Louis Community College- Forest Park.

This retelling of Euripides’ tragic story of Medea is done in both classical and contemporary language. Roles are available for three women and seven men, ages 18 to senior citizens. Those auditioning are asked to come prepared with a two-minute memorized selection. No appointment is necessary.

Performances will be 8 p.m. April 19, 20 and 21, and 3 p.m. April 22. STLCC-Forest Park is located at 5600 Oakland Ave.
