Sayles Receives MCCA Distinguished Alumni Award

Keith Sayles received the Distinguished
Alumni Award from the Missouri Community
College Association.

Keith Sayles received the Missouri Community College Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award at the association’s annual convention in Branson. 

Sayles is the director of the African-American Male Initiative at STLCC’s Florissant Valley and Forest Park campuses, and in that capacity he develops programs designed to increase graduation rates among African-American men.

Sayles is a leader, motivating public speaker, and catalyst for change in St. Louis’ African-American community.  He attended STLCC-Forest Park, where he was president of the Student Government Association and a student ambassador, and received many service and merit awards.  After graduating from Forest Park, Sayles attended Saint Louis University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2005.

In addition to his work at STLCC, Sayles is active in the community. He is a volunteer for the St. Louis Effort for AIDS and the St. Louis City Juvenile Courts Division Visitor program.
