CPR Skills Gained through STLCC Program Enables Father to Save Son's Life

CPR training is an important component of St. Louis Community College’s environmental remediation technician training program. Recent program graduate Lawrence Williams is glad that’s the case.

Last month, Williams’ seven-year-old son nearly drowned in a pool while they were attending a birthday party. Thanks to the training Williams received through this joint program with Saint Louis University, he immediately began chest compressions on his son and saved his life.
