STLCC Chancellor Finalists Named

The St. Louis Community College Chancellor Search Committee has announced three finalists for the position of chancellor.

 

STLCC faculty, staff and the community will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the finalists in open public forums at all campuses and the college’s administrative center April 6-7.  

 

The three candidates are Myrtle E.B. Dorsey, chancellor of Baton Rouge Community College; Thomas Klincar, president of John Wood Community College; and Marcia Pfeiffer, president of STLCC’s Florissant Valley campus.

 

Current STLCC Chancellor Zelema Harris is retiring June 30. She has served as the college’s CEO since August 2007.

 

The public forums will take place as follows:

 

Wednesday, April 6
Myrtle Dorsey: 8:30-9:20 a.m., Florissant Valley campus, Emerson Center Lobby; 10-10:50 a.m., Cosand Center, fifth floor board room; 11:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m., Forest Park, Room L-024; 1:45-2:35 p.m., Meramec, Library Confluence Room; and 3:30-4:20 p.m. Wildwood, Multipurpose Room - Side A.

 

Thursday, April 7

Thomas Klincar: 8:30-9:20 a.m., Meramec campus, Faculty/Staff Dining Room (SC-125); 10-10:50 a.m., Florissant Valley, Emerson Center Lobby; 11:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m., Cosand Center, fifth floor board room; 1:45-2:35 p.m., Forest Park, Room L-024; and 3:30-4:20 p.m., Wildwood, Multipurpose Room - Side A.

 

Marcia Pfeiffer: 9:30-10:20 a.m., Meramec campus, Faculty/Staff Dining Room (SC-125); 11-11:50 a.m., Florissant Valley, Emerson Center Lobby; 12:30-1:20 p.m., Cosand Center, fifth floor board room; 2:45-3:35 p.m., Forest Park, Room L-024; and 4:30-5:20 p.m., Wildwood, Multipurpose Room - Side A.

 

The Florissant Valley campus is located at 3400 Pershall Road in Ferguson; Forest Park, 5600 Oakland Ave. in St. Louis City; Meramec, 11333 Big Bend Road in Kirkwood; Wildwood, 2645 Generations Drive in Wildwood; and the Cosand Center, 300 S. Broadway across from Busch Stadium.
