Meramec Staff Member Wins Sloan Consortium Award

Linda Hubble, Senior Instructional Designer at STLCC-Meramec, was recently awarded the Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C) Effective Practice award for her project “Study Strategies & Student Engagement Using Wikis: Collaborative Note Taking with the Cornell Method.”  The project was one of five award winners nationwide.

The award-winning project utilizes the wiki tool in Blackboard to support a shared process for note taking and discussion among students.

Hubble will be presenting her project at the 8th Annual Sloan-C Blended Learning Conference and Workshop in Oak Brook, Ill on March 29.
