Patrick J. Burke -- Subdistrict 2 Candidate

Patrick J. Burke has been a building inspector for the cities of Creve Coeur, Maryland Heights and Berkeley. He is seeking elected office for the first time.

“My career has been enhanced and advanced by my education at St. Louis Community College, and I want to give back,” Burke said. “I have been involved with education as a volunteer and see that the community college has great potential to shape the future.”

Burke has served as president and board member of the Missouri Association of Building Officers and Inspectors. He also served as president and board member of both the McRee and Tiffany neighborhood associations, and Mullanphy Community School; vice president and secretary of St. Margaret’s Credit Union; an officer for both the Chouteau Lions and St. Louis Jaycees. He also has been active with the Boy Scouts of America, and has received District Award of Merit, the Silver Beaver Award.

Burke has been named Volunteer of the Year for Mullanphy Community School and the St. Louis Public Schools Community Schools. He also earned the Presidential Service Award from the Missouri Association of Building Officials. 

Burke has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Saint Louis University and an associate degree in building inspection from St. Louis Community College.
